Graham Smyth has stated that recent comparisons made between Leeds United and Huddersfield Town are ‘bold’, with Phil Hodgkinson claiming there’s not much difference between the two squads.

Leeds sit top of the Championship table and have done the double over Huddersfield this season in the league, however, Town owner, Hodgkinson, has claimed there’s not much between the two squads.

"If you look at that Leeds game, if you put those two squads together, I would not say, in my personal opinion, that Leeds have got better players than us barring one or two,” he told the And He Takes That Chance podcast.

“I believe we've got better players in most positions.”

The Yorkshire Evening Post’s Smyth has responded by calling the claims ‘bold’, which has, in-turn, caused much more reaction from the Leeds fanbase.

Some are claiming that Hodgkinson is wrong with what he says, whilst others appear to be in some kind of agreement with the Town owner, citing the impact Bielsa has had on the Leeds squad as the reason they are flying in the Championship and on the cusp of promotion.
