Brentford want to sign Watford striker Jerome Sinclair, according to the Sun.

Former Liverpool striker Sinclair is wanted by the Bees before they sanction the sale of star striker Scott Hogan – who is expected to join West Ham this week.

Sinclair scored his first goal for the Hornets at the weekend, and a move to the Championship has long been discussed, with boss Walter Mazzari admitting a move for Sinclair could still be on the cards despite his impressive performance against Burton yesterday.

The young striker made the bold decision to ditch Liverpool in the summer after finding first team chances hard to come by under Jurgen Klopp, but thus far it has been a similar story at Vicarage Road.

A move to the Championship with Brentford – where he would become the main man no doubt – would look to be beneficial to the player and the Bees, who will need to find someone to replace the goals which Hogan will take with him.

Brentford fans, what do you think to this? Is Sinclair a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
