It's an emotional game for Parkinson, who is a Reading legend and made over 350 appearances for the Royals during his playing career, winning two player of the season's and has been voted the best midfielder to ever play for them.

The world knows of the Bantams' incredible run in the FA Cup, having knocked Chelsea out of the competition in a 4-2 victory, after coming from 2-0 down. It's been hailed as the greatest upset in the cups long history.

Bradford, for the first time in their last four FA Cup games are considered favourites to beat Reading at Valley Parade and Parkinson believes that it's a great chance for his team to reach Wembley.

Parkinson told Get Reading: "We are under no illusions at all that to get through this game we are going to have to play probably better than we have at any point this season so far.”

“But any home draw at this stage is a good one and so this is a good opportunity for us.

It’s great for myself and my family to be playing Reading. My kids were born there and I’ve got some great friends down there.

“But once the dressing room door closes we’ll be totally focussed on putting in a great performance.”

Bradford's last game came against strugglers Crawley Town, where they triumphed 1-0. An early Francois Zoko goal was enough to beat Town, after Lewis Price misjudged a cross which Blackpool loanee Zoko lapped up with ease.

City were deserved winners in the end, holding 55% possession and having 12 attempts on goal, four of which were on target. The Bantams 'play-off ambitions are still alive, they're eighth place having amassed 48 points this season, one point off of sixth placed Doncaster.
