Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla made more successful passes than any Blackburn Rovers player in yesterday's game, which has drawn an interesting response from fans of the Yorkshire club.

The Whites beat Rovers 2-1 at Elland Road to stay third in the Championship and keep the pressure on the top two, West Bromwich Albion and Preston North End.

Patrick Bamford ended his goal drought when he opened the scoring from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.

Jack Harrison doubled Marcelo Bielsa's side's lead five minutes later after some sensational hold-up play from Bamford.

Derrick Williams pulled a goal back for Blackburn just before the break, nodding in a corner from Stewart Downing's corner.

The hosts dominated the second half and despite being unable to increase their lead secured the victory.

Casilla had little to do in the Whites' goal, making just one save all game (Wyscout), but played an important part with the ball at his feet–completing 24 passes in total.

According to Focus on Leeds, that is more than any Blackburn player made in the Championship tie.

That fact has caught the attention of many fans of the Yorkshire club, who took to Twitter to praise the Spaniard.
