Coventry City need to send Andre Wright back to West Bromwich Albion before his loan deal expires.

I say this for a number of reasons.

Firstly, Andre Wright was a panic buy.

He was brought in on a half-season loan moments before the transfer window shut.

Tony Mowbray had scouted far and wide for a striker during the January transfer window, had been rebuffed at the final hurdle in his attempt to land Rushian Hepburn-Murphy on loan from Aston Villa and just had to make do with a local boy who West Brom's academy didn't even fancy keeping.

Wright was clearly a last resort and fans were already dissatisfied by this new signing, having been promised better players especially after the sale of Romain Vincelot.

It was also not what was needed.

This Coventry side lacks experience, especially in the forward department and that should have been prioritised rather than another youth player.

This was Andre Wright's first loan spell in the Football League having only previously managed a moderate scoring record in the National League the year before.

Coventry need to get rid of him now so that they can use the January window to get someone better in as a replacement.

The fans clearly don't want the 19-year-old at the club.

These two tweets suggest what the Coventry City faithful think of West Brom's teenage forward as Twitter reacted to Andre Wright starting for West Brom's youth team.

There are two clear and simple reasons why the fans don't like him.

Firstly, he has a serious attitude problem.

When Coventry were trailing Charlton Athletic 1-0 at The Valley, Andre Wright reacted dejected at being substituted and sulked by slowly dragging himself off the pitch, much to the annoyance of the fans who were hoping the Sky Blues could get back into the match.

Then, when Coventry were losing heavily to Oxford United, he put his finger to his mouth and shushed the travelling fans.

That is incredibly naive, rude and disrespectful from a young man who has not proven anything in the game.

Which leads us to another reason for wanting him out - he is absolutely useless.

He is supposedly a target man and a finisher but he cannot shoot, pass, run or hold the ball up.

Andre Wright looks too slow, too lightweight and nowhere near this standard of football.

He is using up Coventry City's precious wages and preventing other youngsters such as Jack McBean and George Thomas, who definitely deserve more of a chance than Wright.

He also plays down the middle and forces Marvin Sordell out wide despite Sordell posing the biggest threat in Coventry's attack when he's deployed as a centre forward.

Coventry should terminate Wright's loan contract with immediate effect and move on without his negative influence.

Coventry fans - do you agree? Would you get rid of Andre Wright or keep him? Let us know in the comments below...
