Cardiff City vs Bristol City normally ends up being a feisty encounter between the pair, and this weekend's Severnside derby will be no different in the Championship.

Bristol City have been building up to the clash on Twitter by posting a video of club legend Scott Murray netting away at Cardiff years ago, with just three days to go until the Robins travel over the bridge and head for The Cardiff City Stadium.

The clip used in question came from Bristol City's 3-1 away win on December 27th 2001, when a Murray double and a sole Lee Matthews strike helped the Robins to victory over their bitter rivals.

Primarily a winger during his playing days, Murray made 354 league appearances for the Robins across two spells and netted 74 goals as he propelled himself to legend status at Ashton Gate during the 1990's and 2000's.

There will certainly be no love lost between the two sets of players on Sunday afternoon, with former Robins players Aden Flint and Lee Tomlin possibly lining up for the Bluebirds while Cardiff were the team that took City academy graduate Bobby Reid away from Ashton Gate in the summer of 2018.
