Nottingham Forest are eyeing both Slavisa Jokanovic and Mark Warburton to be their new permanent manager, according to Alan Nixon.

Forest have been without a manager since the sacking of Philippe Montanier, and interim head coach Gary Brazil has done a decent job of turning things around at the City Ground, despite a 5-1 hammering at the hands of Norwich City yesterday.

Chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has been under all sort of pressure at Forest this season, with the sales of Oliver Burke and Henri Lansbury doing little to endear fans to him.

However, news that he has targeted two top class managers in Jokanovic and Warburton will come as good news to the Forest fans, who will be looking for some stability going into next season.

Jokanovic has done an excellent job with Fulham this term, leading them to a playoff push despite the sales of Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele in the summer, while Warburton has led Rangers back to the Scottish Premier League, with his future seemingly in turmoil following events on Friday night.

Both managers would no doubt be excellent choices for Forest though, who will be hoping to secure Championship survival this season and press on next term under a new manager.

Forest fans, what do you think? Would you take these two? Let us know in the comments!
