Norwich City and Derby County are among the Championship clubs to have enquired about the future of Ipswich Town midfielder Tom Lawrence, according to the Daily Mail.

Currently on loan at Portman Road from English champions Leicester City, the 22-yea-old has been in good form for the Tractor Boys since making the move down from the east Midlands.

He’s scored twice from a midfield berth, while he has also registered a further four assists for Mick McCathy’s side in East Anglia.

Able to operate in both midfield and attack, the versatility the Welshman boasts is believed to have attracted interest from elsewhere in the second tier.

Fierce rivals Norwich, as well as a resurgent Rams side under Steve McClaren are understood to be among the interested parties.

Cardiff City are another said to be keen on the Welsh international, while the¬†likes of Wigan Athletic and Jaap Stam’s Reading are thought to retain an interest.
