Sky Bet Championship side Norwich City are contemplating making a move for Huddersfield Town’s Bermudan striker Nahki Wells, according to the Daily Mirror.
Nahki Wells has played a pivotal role in Huddersfield’s surge up the table this season, unlike last season, Huddersfield hasn’t been as heavily reliant on the Bermudan but he has led the line superbly for the Terriers.
Despite a drop in form, Nahki Wells still has seven goals and an assist in the Championship this season, which has attracted attention from a number of fellow Championship sides.
Leading the pack is Norwich City, Alex Neil is reportedly a keen admirer of the Bermudan striker and he has cited Nahki Wells as one of his top transfer targets for the January transfer window.
The arrival of Nahki Wells would further bolster Norwich City’s attacking options, however, as Huddersfield Town currently lies in the play-off positions under the management of David Wagner, the West Yorkshire side has virtually no incentive to sell even if Nahki Wells contract comes to an end next year.
Norwich and Huddersfield fans, what do you make of the news? Could you see Nahki Wells leave the West Yorkshire club in this window? How much do you think he is worth?
