Leeds United face Yorkshire rivals Hull City at Elland Road this evening and a suggested Whites XI has got many fans of the club talking.

A win for the hosts would see them go top of the Championship, at least until West Bromwich Albion play Wigan Athletic tomorrow evening.

It would also extend their run of consecutive league victories to seven, which, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, would make Marcelo Bielsa just the second Leeds boss to achieve that feat twice–with the other being the revered Don Revie.

Bielsa announced yesterday that Kalvin Phillips would return after his one-game suspension, while injured captain Liam Cooper would be missing.

The Tigers have looked ferocious at times this season and are certainly not a side that the Whites cannot afford to underestimate–as their 4-0 hammering of promotion chasers Preston North End a few weeks ago shows.

The main danger they face is Hull forward Jarrod Bowen, who has contributed to more goals than any player in the Championship this season (14 goals and four assists).

With Cooper missing, it is going to be interesting to see how Bielsa looks to manage his threat.

Beren Cross from Leeds Live has suggested the XI that he believes will be selected this evening, including a back-four of Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Ben White, and Ezgjan Alioski.

The line-up has certainly got plenty of Leeds fans talking, with some agreeing and others suggesting tweaks of their own.
