Huddersfield Town have undoubtedly been the Championship's biggest surprise package this year, and the fact they sit third has shocked even the most optimistic Huddersfield fans.

David Wagner has been a breath of fresh air at the John Smith's Stadium, his expansive style of play has brought success to the club.

It took the German a while to implement his style of play, but over the summer, it is clear the players have been working hard on and off the pitch to adapt to the 'Wagner revolution'.

The summer window enabled Wagner to put his own stamp on the team and bring players in, who he knew would fit well into his style of play.

The final week of the January window could prove to be make or break for Huddersfield, they could do with another couple of players to bolster their final push for the top flight.

Here, FLW's Chris Wilson will look at TWO players Huddersfield should snap up to stay in the Play-Offs...

Yanic Wildschut

Huddersfield could do with some extra depth out wide, and Wildschut would bring quality as well as depth, pushing for a first team start.

The Dutchman is currently playing for Wigan, but the lure of swapping a relegation dog fight for a promotion battle could be too much to turn down if the clubs could agree on a fee.

Wildschut fits perfectly into what Wagner wants from his wingers, he is pacy, tricky and he has the end product to match, supplying the likes of Wells and Kachunga with chances.

Kevin Long

With Long due back from injury in the next week or so, loaning him out seems to be a logical move for Sean Dyche and Huddersfield should swoop to sign him.

Long is a very good player, but even once he gets back to fitness, he won't get into the Burnley squad so he may force a move himself to try and get some game time.

The Irish centre back is solid defensively, as well as being composed on the ball, which is what David Wagner looks for in a defender.

Wagner's style of play means all his players have to be good on the ball and Long certainly is.
