Derby County manager Phillip Cocu is looking to add some more fire-power to his squad as he looks to push-on up the Championship table over the second half of the season, with Polish international Kamil Jozwiak the latest name to be linked with a move to Pride Park, according to Polish media outlet Polsat Sport.

Jóźwiak, 21, plays as a winger who currently plies his trade in the Ekstraklasa for Lech Poznań, where he has scored 11 times in 86 appearances since joining the club back in February 2016.

So would Jozwiak be a good signing at Pride Park, is he needed and would he make the starting XI?

We discuss..........

Ned Holmes

“A rapid young winger that is capable of both creating and scoring goals, Jozwiak looks an exciting prospect and certainly someone that the Rams should be looking to bring in.

“The 21-year-old has four goals and two assists in 19 appearances for Lech Poznan and at his age should only improve over the next few years.

“Derby have to be thinking ahead of just the next six months and should be trying to build the foundations of a squad that can compete at the top of the division in one or two seasons time.

“Jozwiak fits into that mould and makes a lot of sense as a signing."

Josh Cole

“This could prove to be a decent addition by Derby if they can beat Blackburn to the signing of Jozwiak this month.

“An exciting young talent, the winger has produced a number of impressive displays in Poland’s top division this season for Lech Poznan.

“Providing that he is able to adapt to life in the Championship, Jozwiak could potentially help Derby push on towards the play-offs during the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.

“Given that the likes of Tom Lawrence and Duane Holmes have lacked consistency at times this year, it could be argued that it may be worth taking a risk on Jozwiak.”

George Harbey

"Derby County are certainly in need of another winger, and Jozwiak could be a very exciting signing for the Rams.

"The likes of Tom Lawrence, Mason Bennett and Florian Jozefzoon have all failed to impress and have been far from their best this season, meanwhile Morgan Whittaker just isn't ready to be playing week in, week out in the first-team just yet.

"Jozwiak is at a really good age and has impressed over in Poland, and he could continue his impressive goal/assist record if he wants to move over to England and to Pride Park.

"He is a winger who is direct and loves to take on the opposition with his blistering pace and trickery, and he is able to play on either flank. He could be an excellent addition for the Rams."
