A dominant Brighton & Hove Albion display means the Seagulls strengthen their automatic promotion spot following a comfortable 4-1 victory over strugglers Burton Albion.

Chris Hughton was looking for a positive response from his team after their hectic 3-3 draw in London last weekend against Brentford, whilst the Brewers were looking to get back-t0-back victories having beat Wolverhampton Wanderers the previous week.

Brighton got off to their ideal start when Tomer Hemed hit home an Anthony Knockaert cross and continued to dominate play for the first 45 minutes.

The hosts doubled the lead just moments after the break as Sam Baldock smashed the net, and it was 3-0 ten minutes later when Hemed scored his second from the spot.

Nigel Clough's team had a response in them as loanee Michael Kightly's free-kick when past David Stockdale, but any comeback was put to bed when Glenn Murray grabbed Brighton's fourth in the 83rd minute.
