Queens Park Rangers got their new season off to a flyer as they comfortably beat Nottingham Forest by two goals to nil. 

Mark Warburton will have been impressed with his side, and he will have been delighted with what he saw from his new signings.

With Eberechi Eze leaving the club, and Jordan Hugill now at Norwich City, the lack of goals in the squad is something that Warburton would have seen as a potential worry.

However, Lyndon Dykes put any worries at ease as he netted his first Championship goal for the club slotting home from the penalty-spot.

Dykes joined from Livingston in the summer, and it appears as though he's going to play a key part for Warburton in the upcoming campaign.
