Leeds United's star striker Chris Wood is wanted by Swansea City, according to HITC Sports.

The 25-year-old, who has scored 17 goals under Garry Monk this season, was recently linked with a move to China but a potential move to the far-east has seemingly diminished.

Wood is arguably Leeds' stand-out performer this campaign and the club will do all they can to retain the forward this month. The Championship outfit have put price tag of £15 million on the New Zealand international's head which has put off the likes of Sunderland and West Ham United in making a swing for him.

Paul Clement has been busy in January as he looks to bolster Swansea's survival hopes, and Kyle Bartley is currently on loan at Elland Road so the Welsh side may look to include the defender in a possible move for Wood.

The former West Bromwich Albion striker is currently at his tenth employer in England and might be hoping to settle down at Leeds United as they look to gain promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds fans, how vital is Chris Wood to your promotion hopes? Is £15 million enough to allow him to leave the club? Who would you have replace him? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
