The club are set to be offered the deal ahead of the 2015/16 season, and it would see Fruity King take over as the main shirt sponsor from current sponsor Enterprise Insurance Company next season.

WinnerSports claims that Fruity King are eyeing a sponsorship for the Yorkshire club rather than a deal with Premier League side Newcastle United, and see Leeds United's sizeable fanbase as beneficial for the firm.

The Elland Road outfit have endured a turbulent campaign off of the pitch, with club owner Massimo Cellino being disqualified from owning the club by the Football League, whilst the side have seen three different managers take charge of the first-team this year.

Leeds currently lie in 16th position in the Sky Bet Championship table, having amassed 23 points from 20 league games, with the club's inconsistent form leaving them languishing in mid-table.

Neil Redfearn's side suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat at the hands of Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday, and any deal Fruity King offer could hinge on where the Whites finish at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Leeds United are set to make a January bid for a Serie A striker, as reported on FLW HERE.
