Leeds United are interested in signing Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Amer Gojak, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.

Marcelo Bielsa will be keen to strengthen his squad this summer, with Leeds on the cusp of winning promotion to the Premier League this season.

Gojak has emerged as a transfer target for the Whites, as per Corriere dello Sport, with Hertha Berlin, Bologna and Sassuolo also being credited with an interest in the Bosnian.

Can you name the stadium of these 40 EFL clubs?

Gojak has made over 150 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb and has also been capped at international level by Bosnia 10 times, scoring four goals.

The 23-year-old scored four goals and registered five assists across 38 appearances in 2019/20, making five appearances in the UEFA Champions League.

Reports from Croatian media outlet Sportske Novosti also claim that Everton are also interested in the midfielder, so interest is clearly high in the creative playmaker.

The Verdict

Gojak looks to be a talent with decent pedigree and there is no reason to suggest why he can't be a success if he moved to Elland Road.

The 23-year-old has played a lot of games in Croatia's top-flight, at international level and in the Champions League as well, so he clearly has a decent pedigree.

He has plenty of time to develop as a player, and under a coach like Marcelo Bielsa, he could really turn his game into another level.

Pablo Hernandez is getting older and new creative midfielders could be needed to supply Tyler Roberts and Mateusz Klich with cover.
