Leeds United and QPR are monitoring Chievo full-back Fabrizio Cacciatore, according to Tutto Mercato Web.

Fabrizio Cacciatore

The Yorkshire side is in the market for a full-back, after Sam Byram completed a move to West Ham United.

Leeds chairman Massimo Cellino has been on a scouting hunt in Italy to find a full-back ,and is a firm admirer of the 29-year- old.

It is claimed the former Cagliari owner watched right-back Fabrizio Cacciatore in action for Chievo on Sunday.

Cacciatore, 29, played the full 90 minutes in Chievo's 1-1 home draw against Empoli.

The Italian full back had made 15 appearances in Serie A this season and has also attracted the attention of QPR, who have sent scouts to watch the full back.

The defender can operate at either left or right back and would give Steve Evans further options in defence.

Leeds currently sit in 17th place in the Championship and need to bring in some defensive reinforcements to improve their recent slump in form.
