QPR have had a great start to the season and, despite the little blip that they are currently undergoing, Mark Warburton will be delighted with his side.

The R's have suffered defensively in the current campaign, but they've been a breath of fresh air in terms of their attacking play in the Championship.

They have quite a young side mixed with experience and one of those players who seems to be scoring a number of goals for the R's is loanee Nahki Wells. He is one of the experienced strikers within the squad and his recent comments have suggested that he may be open to a permanent move to the Warburton's side.

Wells has insisted that in the future he'd like to have a crack at the Premier League again, and with the striker now 29-years-old, there's not a lot of time to do that. That suggests that if he's wanting a permanent move to QPR, he's hoping that Warburton's side can be the one that he'd look to play Premier League football for.

He won't get many more opportunities, and he is nowhere near in favour at Burnley so a permanent move would definitely be best for the forward. He's scored eight goals so far this season and the R's have looked very good in attacking areas of the pitch.

It would be a surprise to here that QPR's expectation could be play-offs for the current campaign but after the start that they've had and the talent that the side has shown, there's no reason why Warburton can't use the top six as an aim for his team.

Players such as Eberechi Eze and Ilias Chair are so young and full of energy. That drive has propelled them in games, and could do once more in the future. It's impossible every season to tell who's going to be in the top six of the Championship, but this year it seems even more difficult with a lot of surprise sides up and around the top half of the table.

If QPR can put together another good run, and Wells can keep scoring and spreading his ambition to his team-mates then there's no reason why the R's can't be a dark horse for a top six spot.
