It was yet another disappointing weekend for Stoke City, who were defeated by two goals to one against Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

The Potters would have been looking to bounce back after falling to two defeats in their last two games, that put their survival hopes back in doubt.

On Saturday, they prepared to come up against a Hull side that had already beaten the likes of Fulham and Nottingham Forest this term, and Stoke would have to be wary of their frightening front-line.

Michael O'Neill's side did take the lead early on, though. Sam Vokes opening the scoring for Stoke with just seven minutes on the clock, getting his side off to a perfect start on the day.

But despite looking relatively solid in the first-half, Stoke's leaky defence were back to their usual selves in the second-half.

Jarrod Bowen netted a quickfire brace to secure a 2-1 win for the Tigers, condemning Stoke to their 14th defeat of the campaign.
