Cheltenham Town have strengthened their attacking options by signing Millwall striker John Marquis on loan.

The powerful 22 year old forward joins on an initial one-month deal for his fourth loan spell in League Two after spending time with Portsmouth, Torquay United and Northampton Town last season, scoring seven goals in 25 appearances across the three clubs.

Cheltenham manager Mark Yates told the club's website: "John is one we've had an eye on for a while.

"He has a real talent and experience in the Football League with Millwall as well as other clubs at this level in other loan moves.

"We need competition in those forward positions and John will be able to provide that. He's a talented player and I believe he will compliment what we already have here."
