Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich Town have rejected an enquiry from newly promoted Premier League side Bournemouth for left-back Tyrone Mings, according to FLW sources.

Mings has joined AFC Bournemouth for £8 million
FLW understands that the Cherries have been snubbed in their pursuit of Mings

The 22-year-old is a target for numerous Premier League sides this year, including giants such as Chelsea and Arsenal, as well as relegation battlers Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.

His top performances in the second tier last year have attracted these clubs as he almost seamlessly slotted into the void left by Aaron Cresswell, who departed for West Ham United during last summer's transfer window.

Bournemouth are the latest club to join the queue for the former Southampton man's signature, and have enquired over how much they'd need to cough up, with the Daily Mail suggesting he is rated at £8 million.

The Cherries are looking to add English talent to their side this summer as Eddie Howe seems to believe that domestic players are key to keeping his side in the Premier League.
