Footage has emerged of Queens Park Rangers winger Ryan Manning dazzling in training following his recent impressive form in the first-team.

He has so far played in each of the Rs Championship matches this season, both at left-back and on the left of midfield, racking up two assists in the process.

On Monday, with a number of teammates away on international duty, Manning moved to ensure he remained at the forefront of Mark Warburton's mind, scoring an excellent acrobatic effort in training.

He took to Instagram to brag about it too, posting a clip of the goal on his story along with the caption: "Don't go for those ones," goading his teammate and summer goalkeeping signing Liam Kelly.

Manning spent the first-half of last season out on loan with Rotherham United, returning in January having netted four goals for the Millers.

And he has become a fixture in the West London side now, playing a key part in their impressive start to the season with Warburton's side sat in ninth place with 11 matches played.

Last weekend saw them despatch Blackburn Rovers with ease at Loftus Road with a trip to Hull City awaiting them after the international break.

The verdict

If you ever needed a visual representation of how high Manning's confidence is right now, this is it.

It is indicative of the entire mood around the club at the moment actually. Warburton has arrived and brought a breath of fresh air with him.

Last season was one played with fear and watched with fear as well, where as now everyone connected with the club seems to be thoroughly enjoying the season.
