A host of Championship clubs including Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in snapping up Rotherham striker, Danny Ward, according to The Sheffield Star.
Promotion contenders Huddersfield Town are also interested in the 25-year-old, alongside Ipswich Town and Wolves.
Ward already has nine goals to his name this season, an impressive return in a team that have been struggling, which has caught the eye of most Championship teams.
One club are believed to have already made an offer for Ward, which has been rebuffed, although the report doesn’t say which team has been knocked back. With so many clubs interested in Ward, Rotherham fancy their chances of sparking a bidding war to get the most money possible for their prize asset.
Ward’s goals though could be the difference for Rotherham this year. Despite their position seemingly perilous, without their main source of goal, relegation would surely be staring them in the face.
