Football League World's Charlton Athletic fan pundit Kieran Keogh has given his views on how Conor Gallagher has performed so far for the Addicks this season, since making his move across London on loan from Premier League Chelsea.

The young midfielder has made a great start to the season, scoring four and assisting one in his first 11 league games this season for the Greenwich based club, in a start that has really impressed Keogh, who admitted the following about the 19-year-old:

"Personally I'd never heard of him until he was linked with us and even then I was a little sceptical about him joining Charlton as he had no prior experience in men’s football apart from the EFL Trophy.

"I’m surprised to see him start the way he has and he is a pleasure to watch, he’s only 19-years-old, but he’s playing like he’s an experienced footballer already and he seems like he is above this league.

"Keep an eye on this lad, I'm sure he will be a great player!"

When asked about what he thought Gallagher's best qualities are, Keogh replied:

"He is quick on the ball, knows how to pick out a successful pass when there are no other options left instead of being like most young players and trying to make something out of nothing.

"I would also say he is probably our hardest worker, he is always chasing the ball down and putting pressure on the opposition, he is part of the glue that holds the midfield together and I can honestly say I've never seen him put in a bad performance, with Gallagher impressing me week in, week out so far."

If his sparkling start is anything to go by, the best is still very much left to come from Gallagher, with this Chelsea youngster making quite an impression already on our fan pundit and the wider Addicks' support so far this campaign.
