Wigan Athletic defender Gary Caldwell is close to moving to Greek giants Panathinaikos, reports The Mirror.
Their chief football writer Martin Lipton tweeted the news, saying that the Greeks had made a "big money offer" but it is not clear whether this is to Wigan or to Caldwell.
The Scot, 32, joined the Latics from Celtic in 2010 and has gone on to make more than 100 appearances for the club.
He was forced to watch their FA Cup final triumph against Manchester City and their subsequent relegation from the Premier League days later because of an injury and the stopper only returned to action in April, making it almost a year out of the game.
Despite his comeback, he was unable to help Uwe Rosler's side to promotion as they were beaten by eventual play-off winners QPR in the semi-finals.
