Thankfully the international break is over and we can get back to a full fixture list each weekend.
For Gameweek 20 we are going to be introducing the Championship stat attack (as contributed by Tom Sandford) which will be an extensive statistical guide on all matches in the English second tier. Alongside this will be our pick for the matches, these picks will be a good indicator of where to find a solid bet to add to your accumulator or weekend bets.
3 pt stake:
MK Dons v Port Vale BTTS & OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 20/21
Watford v Derby BTTS & OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 10/11
Double pays 3.72
2 pt stake:
Charlton or Draw @ 9/20
Middlesbrough or Draw @ 9/20
Barnsley or Draw @ 17/20
Double chance treble pays 3.89
Charlton have lost just twice all season and none of those losses have occurred at the Valley, they face a Millwall side winless in any of their last 7 away fixtures so should be able to avoid defeat fairly comfortably.
Middlesbrough have won 6 of their 10 games on their travels in all comps this season and travel to lowly Wigan who've failed to score in 3 of their last 4 home games. I can't see Wigan emerging victorious considering Boro have netted 8 times in their last 4 and will think of this fixture as a must-win if they are going to continue to push for automatic promotion.
Barnsley are HUGE value to win or draw this match having seen them win their last 3 matches, they face a Chesterfield side without a goal in over 360 minutes of league football and should find a result.
1 pt stake:
Shrewsbury BTTS & WIN @ 10/3
MK Dons BTTS & WIN @ 2/1
Double pays 13.00
Shrewsbury have won their last 7 on the trot and have the best goal difference in the league. Exeter are unbeaten in their last 5 league games and 8/9 of their home matches have resulted in BTTS. However Shrewsbury could go top with a win and are fancied to continue their awesome run of form.
MK Dons won this reverse fixture 4-3 just 2 weeks ago and have seen their past 3 home games result in them winning and BTTS. The Dons had 20 shots at goal that day and the lions share of the key chances and surely will find another high scoring win in front of their home fans today.
