According to reports from Hull Live, the Tigers are monitoring Shamrock Rovers midfielder Jack Byrne as a potential new addition.

The 23-year-old returned to his native Ireland after unsuccessful spells with Wigan Athletic, Oldham Athletic and Kilmarnock.

The 26-year-old defender has never played outside of Ireland but could be handed an opportunity with the Tigers if he can impress during his trial period.
