Eric Lichaj has claimed that Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford intentionally kneed  George Long in the build-up to Marcelo Bielsa's side's second goal in their 2-0 win over Hull City on Tuesday night.

Breaking on the counter-attack from a Hull corner, Mateusz Klich centred the ball into the penalty area for Bamford, with his first-time effort coming back off the post, with Alioski firing in the rebound.

While that happened, it appeared as though there was a collision between Bamford and Tigers stopper Long, who remained on the ground as Alioski turned the ball home.

Speaking after the match, Lichaj was clearly far from impressed with Bamford's actions, with BBC Humberside reported David Burns revealing that the Hull captain felt that the Leeds attacker had intentionally kneed Long in that collision, preventing the goalkeeper from stopping Alioski's effort which ultimately secured the three points for Leeds.

Taking to Twitter to react to those claims from Lichaj, plenty of Hull fans appeared to be in agreement with their captain, suggesting that the goal should not have stood, and that Bamford may have been lucky to escape punishment for the incident.

Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
