Crystal Palace have been rebuffed in their interest for Robbie Brady, seeing a £10 million bid rejected by The Canaries, according to Bleacher Report's Dean Jones.

Brady is widely seen as one of the Championship's top players and new Palace boss, Sam Allardyce, has clearly earmarked Brady as one of his top targets this month.

The Canaries are believed to have set the price at £12 million for Brady, so it comes as no surprise Palace's bid has been knocked back, given the vast amount of interest in him.

Norwich need to sell this month before they can bring players in, and the Republic of Ireland international is their most valuable asset, so he looks set to depart this month.

With Norwich sitting well outside the Play-Offs, they will need some serious investment if they are to break into the top six and that money would need to be raised by selling players.

Palace aren't alone in the chase for Brady, Premier League rivals Swansea, Burnley and Leicester are also tracking Brady, alongside Championship duo, Newcastle and Aston Villa.
