The defender has played a key part in Brighton’s promotion push for this season that has not gone unnoticed at Selhurst Park.

Palace boss, Alan Pardew is ready to submit a substantial offer for Dunk, if Brighton fail to achieve promotion to the top-flight this season.

Pardew is thought to be a big admirer of the Seagulls defender after keeping close tabs on the Dunk during the January Transfer Window.

Palace are looking to bolster their defence as Brede Hangeland and Damien Delaney are out of contract this summer.

Dunk’s priorities will remain with Brighton as they are level on points with Middlesbrough and Burnley.

They have two games left to ensure they achieve promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Brighton currently occupy 3rd place in the Championship and face Derby County and a final day showdown with Middlesbrough.
