The deal is to preempt a permanent deal being made when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Beautyman boasts a prolific record for a midfielder, having scored 11 goals in 21 appearances this season - including one in England 'C's win over Estonia last week.

"I like to think I am a box to box midfielder, I like to get forward and score and create goals for others," the former Leyton Orient player told Posh's official website.

"I have been pleased with my goal return so far this season and I am delighted to now be a Peterborough player.

"It is down to me now to try and show the gaffer what I am about and hopefully force my way into his thinking for Friday night's game with Bristol City at London Road, which is a big game for the football club."

Beautyman follows former Welling United stars Fraser Franks and Ross Lafayette into The Football League - both players having made the jump in recent years.

Welling boss Jamie Day said in a statement on the clubs official site: “I’d like to congratulate Harry on his move into league football.

“Harry was a player I had tracked for a while and I was delighted to get him. He had an up and down start with injuries but we could see in training what he was capable of.

“He has been first-class to work with and to manage. His attitude has been fantastic and he fully deserves this chance."

Beautyman will wear the number 35 shirt during his stay with Peterborough.

Peterborough currently lie two points outside the Sky Bet League One play-off zone, having amassed 27 points from 18 league games.
