Reports from The Times suggest Sky Bet Championship trio Cardiff City, Brentford and Fulham are all interest in acquiring the services of Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom on a loan deal during the current transfer window.

The 21-year-old forward has found game time at the Emirates stadium difficult to come by, with just one appearance for his side this season, which came in a 4-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Akpom was a prominent member of Hull City's squad which got promoted last season, having played in 36 matches but bagged just three goals.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock is looking to strengthen his side's attacking options, Fulham are struggling to resolve Chris Martin's issue which has seem them linked with a number of forwards.

Meanwhile, Brentford are set to lose prolific striker Scott Hogan and are keen to find a replacement; Chuba Akpom has already spent time on loan at the Bees, coming in the 2013/14 season.

The Arsenal striker established his place in the England under-21 international squad and has netted three times in his four caps.
