Lee Johnson's Bristol City are currently going through a rough patch in this Sky Bet Championship season, and find themselves lingering towards the bottom end of the table in 19th place.

The club had a brilliant start to the season, leading to many expecting the the Robins to be challenging for a play-off spot come the end of the season.

However, they now find themselves sitting just three points above the final relegation place and look set to be firmly embroiled in a relegation battle, if their current form doesn't improve.

It is clear that the club are in need of a lift, something that could a few fresh faces around the club could certainly deliver.

The loan signing of Tammy Abraham has certainly been one of the signings of the season and gaffer Lee Johnson could potentially look to poach two more of the Premier League's brightest talents, by signing this Chelsea man and this Liverpool player...

 

Dominic Solanke

The Chelsea man that the Robins could potentially look to bring in this window is young frontman Dominic Solanke.

Solanke would no doubt be open to a loan move, with the Bristol club as it would also present the chance to link up with fellow Chelsea man Tammy Abraham.

Solanke is very highly rated by all down at Stamford Bridge and will no doubt be desperate to secure a loan move in January to get valuable experience of first team football week in, week out.

The 19-year-old spent last season on loan with Dutch side Vitesse, where he equipped himself well, netting a very respectable 7 times in 25 appearances.

The youngman would add an extra goal threat to this Bristol City side and could prove to be a very shrewd loan signing by Lee Johnson.

Sheyi Ojo

The Liverpool player that Bristol City should potentially look to bring in this month is exciting young wideman Sheyi Ojo.

The 19-year-old is rated extremely highly by all at Anfield and is already into double figures in terms of appearances for the senior team, with eight of those actually coming in the Premier League.

He is however no stranger to the Championship after spending time on loan at both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

Ojo’s potential has been recognised at international level by England for whom he has been capped at under-16, 17, 18, and 19 level.
