Bristol City shot stopper Richard O'Donnell is close to making the switch from Ashton Gate to Rotherham United's New York Stadium, according to trusted journalist Alan Biggs.

Paul Warne currently finds himself limited in the Goalkeeping department after the season ending injury Lee Camp sustained, and is clearly keen to add some competition for former Wales international Lewis Price.

O'Donnell has struggled to nail down the number one jersey at Ashton Gate and would no doubt welcome the opportunity to fight for a first team spot elsewhere.

The 28-year-old is a very experienced and solid goalkeeper who has represented the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby Town, Chesterfield and Wigan Athletic throughout his career.

Back during the 2014-2015 season when turning out for League One outfit Walsall, O'Donnell received the highest plaudit on offer as he received the club's player of the year award.

The Millers currently find themselves sitting bottom of the Sky Bet Championship, nine points adrift from Burton Albion who sit just outside the relegation zone in 21st place.

Paul Warne led his men to to a brilliant 2-1 victory over Promotion chasing Norwich City at the weekend and will be keen to put in a solid performance this Saturday as an army of over 3000 Millers fans travel up to St James Park.

Rotherham fans, what do you make of this potential incoming? Would he be a good fit for your club? Let us know your thoughts!!
