Bristol City and Coventry City are are lining up a season long loan move for Arsenal defender Isaac Hayden, according to FLW sources.

The 19-year-old defender came through the Southend youth academy and then moved to the Gunners in 2013.

Hayden has made one appearance for Arsenal during a League Cup game against West Bromwich Albion in 2013.

The versatile defender, who can also operate in a defensive midfield position, has been involved in the England youth setup, all the way from U16 level to U19 level.

Both Bristol City and Coventry are eager to snap up the versatile Arsenal defender in a bid to bolster their squads before the upcoming Sky Bet League One campaign.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is willing to let the youngster go out on loan to accumulate some playing time under his belt.
