Blackpool could be taken over by Belokon

There has been mass unrest at the seaside club this season, mainly due to fans being unhappy with current club owner Karl Oyston.

Belokon, a Latvian millionaire, could be the man to save and rejuvenate the struggling Tangerines, and subsequently help supporters of the club get over the turmoil that Oyston has put them though.

Blackpool fans made the headlines on the final day of the Sky Bet Championship season, after supporters invaded the Bloomfield Road pitch in their clash with Huddersfield Town, in protest against Oyston.

The match was subsequently abandoned and it ultimately summed up Blackpool's turbulent season in one incident.

The Tangerines have been relegated to Sky Bet League One and manager Lee Clark will be hoping to overhaul the squad this summer, and aim for a potential promotion push next season.
