Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City are considering a bid for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, according to the Daily Mail.

Gary Rowett's side are not the only team looking at the possibility of bringing in the Welsh international in the summer.

Fellow Championship clubs Blackburn Rovers, Reading and Preston North End are all in hot pursuit of the 23-year-old as well, with Bristol City and Huddersfield already having made enquiries which were rejected by the League One club.

Bradshaw is in his second season with the Saddlers after joining from his home town club Shrewsbury Town in the summer of 2014.

He has only one year left on his contract so the chase is likely to hot up during the summer as Walsall, who sit third in League One, eight points off automatic promotion, so they may consider cashing in on the striker so they don't risk losing him for nothing next season.

Bradshaw has been in impressive form scoring 15 league goals in a season where he has made his debut for Wales in 1-0 friendly loss to Ukraine at the end of March, coming on for Tom Lawrence with 17 minutes left.

He will be hoping to impress Wales manager Chris Coleman in the remainder of the season in order to get on the plane for the European Championships in France.
