A QPR fan has sent an open letter to Leeds United winger Jack Harrison praising him for the way he conducted himself on the pitch in last weekend's game at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, which has been well received by fans of the Yorkshire club.

The Whites suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Rangers last weekend, with Nahki Wells' controversial first-half goal proving the difference between the two sides.

Tempers flared late in the game as Kalvin Phillips was shown a straight red card for his ugly challenge of Geoff Cameron.

Peter Bleksley, ex-Scotland Yard detective and former presenter of Channel 4 programme Hunted, was at the game and has sent an open letter to praise Harrison after the game.

Bleksley, a lifelong QPR fan, praised the Manchester City loanee for his honesty during the game, suggesting that he showed "good old fashioned determination" and "did not exaggerate" his injuries.

He added that Harrison's actions were a stark contrast from a lot of what he has seen in the modern game and described the 23-year-old as a credit to himself, the club and his profession.
