Charlton boss Karl Robinson is taking a keen interest in Barnsley youngster Elliot Lee according to a report by HITC Sport and is reportedly keen to bring the player to The Valley on a loan deal.

The report also states that the likes of Southend, Millwall and Oxford United are also interested in the Barnsley man and it is clear Charlton will face stiff competition for his signature.

Lee has made just a handful of appearances for the Reds since joining the club in the summer, and currently finds himself some way down the pecking order of strikers at Oakwell.

The former West Ham trainee has been sent out on numerous loan spells in his career so far including spells with Southend United, Luton Town and Blackpool. Charlton currently find themselves sitting in 11th place in Sky Bet League One and will no doubt be targeting a late push for the playoff spots in the second half of the season.
Charlton fans, what do you make to this potential incoming? Will Elliot Lee be an improvement on what you already have? Let us know your thoughts below!!
