It's been another dour season at Villa Park and change needs to come over the next few months if they want to move back into the top flight.

The club have suffered another poor season following relegation from the Premier League last year, and despite two managerial changes since, they are yet to see an upturn in results.

Steve Bruce is latest manager who's been unable to turn things round and now many fans are calling for his head; Gary Rowett is the man who most are hoping to take over.

Villa have an infamously strong academy with products like Daniel Sturridge and Gary Cahill both off the Villa conveyor belt, so perhaps with nothing left to play for it's time for the next generation to be blooded.

Aston Villa fans need something to get excited about so maybe it could be their young stars.

Here are two players who Villa fans could see enter the first team picture during the second half of the season, and who could be real stars of the future.

Andre Green

The youngster has been touted for big things for some time by those who've seen him, and made his professional debut in the Premier League last year as Villa limped to a last place finish.

He's made 11 appearances so far this season and is renowned at Villa for being extremely quick, playing on either wing or up front.

He was linked with move away last year as Arsenal and Liverpool were wowed by his appearances for Villa under-23s, and could be the next great thing to come out of the club's academy.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy

The 18-year-old is one of Villa's most highly rated prospects and fans were thrilled to see him pen a new deal earlier in the year as questions over his future began to arise.

Both Watford and Rangers were eyeing him up, but it seems his future is at Villa after all, although he has a long line of strikers ahead of him in the pecking order.

Hepburn-Murphy is a player seen as the future of the club and his introduction could be the start of a very long and prosperous career with the club.
