Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla played a starring role in his side's 2-0 win over Hull City last night, leaving many Whites fans singing his praises.

Leeds beat their Yorkshire rivals at Elland Road to go top of the Championship and overtake West Bromwich Albion, who could move back above them with a win this evening.

An own goal from Hull defender Jordy de Wijs and a second goal in two games for Ezgjan Alioski ensured the Whites picked up their seventh consecutive league win.

The Spaniard has been in sparkling form this season and made a number of important saves against the Tigers–none more so than his denial of Tom Eaves' header from a corner, which started the counter-attack that led to Leeds' second goal.

Casilla kept his fourth consecutive clean sheet last night and his 12th of the season, which is the best record in the league.

With the 33-year-old between the sticks, Leeds have conceded the fewest goals in the Championship this season but they may face an extended period without him as he has been charged with allegedly using racially abusive language.
