Plenty of Leeds United fans have reacted to Liam Cooper's tweet following their club's 1-0 victory over Brentford.

The Whites entered Wednesday's clash knowing that a victory would see them move to the top of the Championship standings yet they nearly fell behind in the first-half as Bees forward Bryan Mbeumo saw a curling effort cannon off the inside of the post.

With his side struggling to break down a resolute Bees defence, Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa made the crucial decision in the second period to bring on Helder Costa and Eddie Nketiah who combined to make an instant impact at Elland Road.

After being played in by Mateusz Klich, Costa produced a superb cross for Nketiah who tapped in from close range to give Leeds the lead.

Whereas Brentford went on to miss a chance to equalise through Said Benrahma, the home side were able to hold on to secure all three points.

Although Nketiah grabbed all the headlines for Leeds after scoring the winning goal, Cooper's display in the heart of defence was equally as impressive as he helped the club secure their second consecutive clean-sheet in the Championship.
