Fulham get the opportunity to avenge Tuesday's 2-1 EFL Cup defeat to Bristol City on Saturday when they host the Robins once again, this time in the Sky Bet Championship.

After a stunning start to the season, remaining unbeaten throughout the whole month of August, the Cottagers have somewhat struggled in recent weeks, not winning since the 27th August.

Lee Johnson's Bristol City are another side who have made a very positive start to the season and will provide another stern test for Slavisa Jokanovic's men on Saturday.

Despite the Championship top goalscorer Tammy Abraham scoring once again to give Johnson's men the win on Tuesday, both sides made a host of changes with many faces expected to return for this league clash.

GK - David Button

Rested on Tuesday night, David Button is expected to come back into the side after his fine start to the season with his new club.

The former Brentford man has been a superb signing for the Cottagers so far and Fulham fans will hope he can pick up his fourth clean sheet of the season.

RB - Denis Odoi

Odoi has impressed since his arrival from Lokeren in the summer, and added some much needed stability to the Fulham back four as well as plenty of attacking threat.

The 28-year-old will surely slot back in at right back for Saturday's match.

CB - Tomas Kalas

kalasss

Another summer arrival who has quickly become a key part of the Fulham defence.

After his recent successes in the Championship, after two successful loan spells at Middlesbrough, Kalas will hope he can achieve the same achievements this season. Another player who has solidified a previously shaky Fulham defence.

CB - Ragnar Sigurdsson

ragnar-sigurdsson

The 30-year-old is another defender that has quickly improved Fulham's once shaky defence.

The scorer of Iceland's first goal in their famous 1-2 win over England in Euro 2016 has some real quality and could be the man to deny in form Bristol City forward Tammy Abraham.

LB - Ryan Sessegnon

Ryan Sessegnons

At only 16-years-old, Ryan Sessesgon has been outstanding so far this season.

The Fulham youngster has shown a superb level of maturity in his performances and I fully expect him to retain his place at left back on Saturday afternoon.

CDM - Scott Parker

Scott ParkerScott Parker

At Championship level, you will struggle to find a player who has more experience at playing in this role.

The former England man provides passion, hard work and reliability in a strong Fulham midfield.

His experience will be vital should they topple a talented Bristol City midfield.

CDM - Kevin McDonald

The Scotland international is another Jokanovic signing that has really impressed fans at Craven Cottage since his arrival from Wolves.

A consistent performer in the heart of the Fulham midfield, who will work well with Scott Parker to deny a strong Bristol City midfield.

His ability to score from long-range and his passing will always cause sides problems.

LW - Lucas Piazon

The Brazilian on loan from Chelsea opened his Fulham account on Tuesday night against Bristol City and will be hoping he can retain his starting place on Saturday.

Piazon has struggled to reach his potential during previous loan spells, but Fulham fans will hope that he will finally reach it in his time at Craven Cottage.

CAM - Tom Cairney

cairney762

Arguably Fulham's player of the season so far, Cairney has had a magnificent start to the campaign.

The Fulham captain has led from the front and already scored twice this season, and been at the heart of everything good for Jokanovic's side.

One of many rested players on Tuesday, Cairney will be determined to secure another three points for the Whites.

RW- Neeskens Kebano

The tricky winger has terrorised defences this season after his arrival from Genk in the summer, and looks set to be one to watch over the course of the season.

Kebano's pace and flair will definitely give Bristol City a few headaches on Saturday afternoon.

ST - Chris Martin

It's fair to say Chris Martin's loan move to Craven Cottage on Deadline Day shocked many after being a key forward for the Rams for many seasons, scoring 61 goals in 148 appearances.

Yet to score for Fulham since his arrival, surely it is only a matter of time before the Scotland international starts to hit the net.

Fulham fans will be hoping that he does on Saturday afternoon.
