The Rams are without a win in the previous six matches and have slipped down the Championship table from second to fifth.

They need a win today to re-establish their promotion credentials or risk falling out of the top six, and repeating the same failings of last term.

Slavisa Jokanovic's Fulham are fighting against relegation down in 19th place, just three points above Bristol City, having lost four of their last six games in the league.

Fulham's last victory came against fellow strugglers Rotherham United - a magnificent 4-1 win all the way back in December.

Derby have failed to win the last five times they have visited Craven Cottage with two defeats and three draws.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Anthony Yeo identifies three things to look out for in this afternoon's encounter...

1) Fulham's defence

Fulham have conceded in all of the last 17 Championship games, which is the longest streak for conceding goals in the division.

Fulham have let 48 goals in this season, and that is the main culprit for them being in danger of dropping down another division.

Fulham have conceded 23 goals at home - the only other team to have conceded more in front of their own fans are Rotherham United. It is a figure which needs to be halted very quickly.

2) Derby County's form

Paul Clement's Rams have had an alarming drop of form.

They are winless in six, while conceding 12 goals in the last six games, which is almost half of the amount they have let in for the season.

Derby's last win was in the FA Cup where they beat struggling League Two side Hartlepool United.

However, the last win in the League was against today's opponent Fulham in December, and they will be hoping to take the positives from that victory into today's game.

3) Ross McCormack

Fulham's top scorer was subject to lots of speculation during the transfer window and in particular on deadline day.

It is slightly surprising that no-one has taken the hitman from Fulham, but if they are to survive they will need him firing on all cylinders.

McCormack has netted 17 times this season. If they do survive and get something from this game, it will likely be because of McCormack carrying the team.
