It's safe to say that it was a day to remember for Norwich youngster Adam Idah in the FA Cup against Preston North End last weekend.

The youngster netted a hat-trick for the Canaries as they ran out 4-2 winners at Deepdale to book their spot in the next round.

It seems as though Idah's recent performance hasn't gone unnoticed though, with Doncaster Rovers reportedly eyeing a loan move for him according to journalist Alan Nixon.

We take a look into more detail on Idah's performance against Preston North End, and see whether he could be the ideal player for Doncaster Rovers to sign on loan during the January transfer window.

It was a day to remember for Idah against the Lilywhites in the third round of the FA Cup, as he netted a stunning hat-trick to see the Canaries progress to the next stage of the competition.

Daniel Farke's side have been drawn against Burnley in the fourth round, although it remains to be seen as to whether Idah will still be with Norwich by the time the game takes place.

He started the game against the Lilywhites, and certainly wasted no time in making an instant impact, as he scored the opener after just two minutes.

Idah only had four shots on target during the whole game, so to come away with three goals to your name, certainly makes for impressive reading for the youngster.

The 18-year-old attempted three dribbles in the game against Alex Neil's side, and was successful in all of them, which shows that he can be a threat with the ball at his feet both going forward and in dangerous areas.

With a pass accuracy of 75% during the game, it shows that he's not selfish when in possession of the ball, and will be hoping to continue to maintain that as a strength of his, even if that is to be on loan away from Carrow Road for the remainder of the season.

One weakness that Idah will be keen to improve on is the amount of aerial duels he wins during matches, with the forward only winning three out of the six duels he contested in the air.

It's no surprise to see other clubs taking an interest in signing Idah on loan for the remainder of this year's campaign, and if he can replicate his performance against Preston against other teams in League One, then Doncaster could have a player that could guide them into the top-six this season.
