Chelsea are a club well-known for sending their youngsters out on loan in order for them to gain valuable game time.

Players like Patrick Bamford have repeatedly been sent out to play for another club on a temporary basis in order for him to improve his game.

The Sky Bet Championship is often a league which young Premier League players drop down into to gain some experience in the hope that they will return to Stamford Bridge as a better player.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal has a strong squad at his disposal this season, but he has only actually invested in one outfield player this summer.

The Portuguese manager may look to strengthen his squad even further ahead of the new campaign to give his side a better chance of achieving a play-off place for the second season running.

FootballLeagueWorld writer Tom Rawcliffe identifies THREE Chelsea players who Sheffield Wednesday could look at bringing to the club...

Michael Hector

In the summer of 2015, Hector was involved in one of the most surprising deals of the window when Chelsea signed him from Reading for £4 million.

Part of the agreement was that he would go back to The Royals for the rest of the season, but he is now back training with Chelsea.

During his career, the centre-back has featured 80 times in the Championship, and his experience could be vital to Wednesday.

They may also need to sign another centre-back to partner Tom Lees this season.

Kenneth Omeruo

Another centre-back option that Sheffield Wednesday could choose is 22-year-old Kenneth Omeruo.

The Nigerian defender, who is capped 31 times for his country, spent the last season in Turkey playing for Kasımpaşa.

However, he has previously played in the Championship for newly-promoted Middlesbrough and, with 33 appearances in the second division, he also already has experience of the league.

His versatility could help Sheffield Wednesday because he is also able to play at right-back.

Isaiah Brown

Brown

With just 11 minutes of Premier League action to his name, Brown has spent a lot of his career out on loan.

He spent last season playing for Vitesse Arnhem in Holland during which he found the net once and assisted another.

The left-winger has seen success during his time at Stamford Bridge, as he captained the side to an FA Youth Cup victory as well as a UEFA Youth League title during the 2014/15 season.

Brown has spent the last few weeks with the England Under-19 squad at the European Championships, which the side have now unfortunately crashed out of.

Wednesday could arguably do with signing another winger due to the club having few real promotion-winning quality wingers at the club, and Brown could be an option for Carvalhal to consider.
