With Garry Monk at the helm, a great deal of optimism is flowing around Elland Road in present times.

Leeds have already made some impressive signings, Oxford hotshot Kemar Roofe, Marcus Antonsson, Robert Green, to name a few, with many more looking to sign for Garry Monk's men.

Arsenal have developed some glorious youth prospects in recent times, Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere and Cesc Fàbregas all came from Arsenal's youth ranks.

And with Garry Monk's Premier League expertise, here Football League World writer George Harbey identifies THREE players that Leeds should look to recruit from Arsenal in order to romp to promotion this term......

Krystian Bielik

The 18-year-old Pole is regarded as the hottest youth prospect in the Gunners' ranks.

Dubbed "the new Patrick Vieira", Bielik could be the ideal replacement for the hole left by Championship Young Player of the Year Lewis Cook, who departed for South Coast club AFC Bournemouth.

Bielik's versatility would also be a great asset at Elland Road too, with the 6 foot 2 man capable of playing centre half.

Having represented Poland at under 19 level already, the holding midfielder would be a perfect addition to the Leeds squad under Monk, who is known for inheriting a young squad from his tenure at Swansea.

Alex Iwobi

After making several appearances for Arsene Wenger's men last term, Elland Road could be the perfect destination for Iwobi's career to kickstart.

The 20 year old has already represented Nigeria at senior international level, and showed signs of promise in the 15/16 campaign of which he made 13 appearances in, netting twice.

Iwobi could really influence his career at Leeds, if Monk chose to bring in the forward on loan.

With targets Anthony Limbombe and Felipe Avenatti's chances of signing on at Elland Road looking to fade away, Iwobi brings the same attributes as the pair to the table, however with more English football experience, you would think it would be a real coup if Monk chose to bring in the young man on loan.

Gedion Zelalem

After a successful loan spell at Glasgow Rangers last term, Zelalem will be looking to kick on and progress from here on in.

Making 21 appearances at Ibrox last year in their own title winning campaign, the German born 19-year old has failed to make a breakthrough in the Gunners' first team thus far.

Another ideal replacement for Lewis Cook, Zelalem's energy in midfield would be essential for Monk's men, having only left two holding midfielders at the club, Toumani Diagouraga and Luke Murphy.

Zelalem has already represented the USA at under-23 level, at the impressive age of 19, and would no doubt be a fantastic acquisition for Monk if the former Swansea boss were to bring him to Elland Road.
