Coventry City have started the season brightly and currently find themselves occupying a play-off spot.

Coventry currently sit 4th in League One with 20 points from 10 games, averaging two points per game. They have beaten the likes of Blackpool and Bristol Rovers so far, two teams currently just outside of the play-offs and who will be looking to creep in.

Coventry have mainly stuck with a core group of players so far this season with Mark Robins only making a few changes here and there.

Coventry finished 8th last season, eight points off the play-offs and Robins will be hoping to use that solid season as a platform this season as they look to achieve promotion back to the Championship for the first time since 2012.

Here we take a look at the starting XI we expect Coventry to field against Rotherham on Saturday...

Coventry City have played well over the past couple of weeks and expect them to go unchanged for the third game in a row.

Marko Marosi should keep his place in goal for the Sky Blues as he has been in excellent form this season as the Slovakian stopper currently has five clean sheets in ten games so far.

Kyle McFadzean has been solid for Coventry since his arrival in the summer and he should partner Dominic Hyam at the heart of defence, who has been equally impressive when he has played this season.

Brandon Mason and Fankaty Dabo should keep their places at full back after impressing recently, especially Dabo who caught the eye since his summer move from Sparta Rotterdam, his attacking runs have so far seemed to be a hit with the fans and they may well be asking for more of the same.

Jordan Shipley, Liam Walsh and Callum O'Hare should occupy the midfield positions with Walsh potentially playing slightly deeper than the other two, giving them chance to express themselves. 22-year-old Walsh has been excellent for Coventry since coming into the side and he will be looking to keep his place.

Callum O'Hare has been an attacking threat for Coventry so far this season, the Aston Villa loanee has scored two goals in six games so far this season and will be looking to add to his tally against Rotherham on Saturday.

The front three should be Jordi Hiwula, Wesley Jobello and Matty Godden. This front three possesses great pace and give Coventry great options, especially on the counter attack.

Matty Godden is Coventry's top goalscorer so far this term with three goals to his name and he should be the one Coventry look at to help them win this game.
