QPR's revival continued this weekend as they managed to pick up a point in the big West London derby against Fulham at Loftus Road.

In a game which saw Fulham striker Chris Martin miss a penalty, QPR are now four games unbeaten, having won three and drawn one in their last month of fixtures.

It marks a much-needed turnaround in form for the Hoops, with young Irishman Ryan Manning grabbing his first senior goal in the 1-1 draw with the Cottagers.

And with things looking a whole lot more settled in West London, attention is now well and truly on the final few days of the transfer window, and who can be brought in to consolidate QPR's Championship status for yet another season.

And one man we think would be a handy addition to the side is Cardiff City frontman Rickie Lambert, who would bring a wealth of experience to the QPR forward line.

So with that in mind, here's TWO reasons why making a move for Rickie Lambert makes a lot of sense indeed...

He's definitely got goals in him

Rickie Lambert has been playing in a Cardiff City side that has struggled for the majority of the campaign, which could be behind his modest haul of just four goals this season.

But we've seen the England international hit the net at all levels in English football in the relatively recent past and with good service, he's always going to be a man who can find the back of the net.

Holloway knows how to get the best out of players

QPR boss Ian Holloway hasn't been at the club all that long in the slightest and after a tricky first couple of weeks, you can tell that he's finally beginning to get the best out of his players.

The Hoops are playing with a spring in their step that we've yet to see from them this season, and you can really see Rickie Lambert finding some real form under a manager that has been getting the best out of players since he started in the game.
